Description:
This position will perform a variety of leadership, professional and personal development training classes with youth.
This position will provide career development training to youth ages 14-19 with a class size of 5 to 20 students. The
instructor will be responsible for learning the material and teaching a 2 hour course on specific career development
topics. The selected candidate will present to a variety of audiences, using training materials, visual aids and media
equipment. This person must have the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting
the message to match the audience. Candidate must display the ability to deliver the course material to the students
in a way that is effective. He or she is responsible for maintaining accurate records of student’s performance and
attendance during the sessions.
Qualifications:
Some teaching experience or public speaking experience
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience working with youth
Professional appearance and demeanor
Hours: 20-24 Flexible
Summer Fall/Spring
Monday- Thursday 8:30a.m.-2:30p.m. Monday 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m.
Tuesday 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.
Wednesday 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m.
Thursday 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.
Saturday 8:30a.m. - 2:30p.m. (twice a month)
Travel – 50%, mileage paid
